We use cookies and similar technologies that are required to run LabelClear — including analytics and session recording (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity). These cannot be switched off while you use the site. This page lists what we set.

How we handle cookies
- Analytics and session recording are required. We use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity (including session recording on marketing pages), and product analytics at a minimum to understand how the site is used and to keep it working.
- There is no opt-out for these tools while you browse LabelClear. The banner is a notice, not a choice between on and off.
- We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies (no Meta, LinkedIn or TikTok pixels).
- Seeing the notice is remembered for 12 months via
lc_consent. You can reopen it any time from the footer.

These are set because the site cannot work without them. None are used for advertising.

What lc_attr is for
It records the page and source that brought you here on your first visit, so we can tell which guides actually help people. It is not sold or shared for advertising.
What we don’t do
- No advertising or retargeting pixels — no Meta, LinkedIn or TikTok.
- No selling analytics data to advertisers.
- No session replay on signed-in app pages that show your recipes and commercial information. Clarity session recording is for marketing pages.
Browser storage
The free tools keep what you type in your browser while you use them — including a draft label if you choose “Save this label”, so it survives signing up and you do not retype it. That stays on your device and is cleared once claimed, or after seven days.
Browser controls
You can clear cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you being able to sign in. Blocking analytics cookies may break or limit how we operate and improve the site; our service is offered on the basis that these tools run.
