What it does

One job, done properly.

LabelClear is not a kitchen management platform with labels bolted on. It is the labelling part, built well, for businesses that do not want the rest.

Ingredients in

Paste, photograph or type. Compound ingredients stay structured.

Allergens confirmed

Suggested with evidence, confirmed by you, saved to the ingredient.

Labels out

Ordered by weight, allergens emphasised, sized for your label stock.

Kept current

Change an ingredient, see every product and label affected.

01

Read a supplier declaration

Paste the text from the tub or photograph the pack. LabelClear splits it into separate ingredients, keeps compound ingredients in their brackets, and suggests which of the 14 allergens are present.

Pasted from the tub

Dark Chocolate (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier: soya lecithin, natural vanilla flavouring). Cocoa solids 54% minimum.

02

Confirm before it counts

Every suggested allergen is shown with the words it came from, and waits for you to confirm it. Nothing is added to a label on the software's say-so.

Confirm before it goes on a label

We found one allergen in that declaration. Nothing is added to a label until you say so.

  • SOYAfound in “emulsifier: soya lecithin”

Anything we missed, you add yourself. You are always the one who decides what is on the label.

03

See what a change affects

Update an ingredient once and LabelClear lists every saved product that uses it, so you know which labels need reprinting instead of trying to remember.

Generate the allergen matrix

The grid front-of-house and event clients keep asking for, built from the products you've already saved — so it can't drift away from your labels.

Printing

Print to what you already own.

Download a PDF at your own label dimensions, or an A4 sheet laid out for standard label paper. No proprietary printer, no consumables contract.

  • Single labels at your dimensions
  • A4 sheets for standard label stock
  • Allergens in bold capitals — survives thermal printing
  • Reprint any label without rebuilding it

Official sources

LabelClear helps you prepare PPDS labels in line with these sources. Your business remains responsible for the accuracy of what goes on the pack.

Questions

Before you start

How long does it take to get my first label?
Minutes. Paste an ingredients list into the free generator and you'll have a label before you've decided whether to sign up. Building a library of saved ingredients takes longer, but you can do it one product at a time as you go.
Do I have to enter recipes with quantities?
For the ingredients list to be ordered by weight automatically, yes — quantities are what does the ordering. You can also enter ingredients in the order you already know is right.
Can more than one person use it?
Yes. Team access is on the Multi-site plan at £39 a month, along with multiple sites sharing one ingredient library.
Can I put my logo on the label?
Branding on labels is included from the Business plan (£19 a month).
Does it do recipe costing or nutrition?
No. There are good tools that do, and if costing is what you need you should buy one of those. LabelClear does labels — that focus is why it's simpler and cheaper.
Does it guarantee my labels are compliant?
No. It helps you produce labels in line with UK PPDS requirements and shows you the official guidance behind each rule. Your business remains responsible for the accuracy of what goes on the pack — and any tool claiming otherwise is overselling.
What happens to my labels if I cancel?
You can export your products and labels before you go. We don't hold your recipes hostage.

Make one label and see

The generator is free and needs no account. If it saves you time on one product, it will save you more on thirty.

Read the requirements

Your label carries over if you decide to keep it.
